🎉 WORKSHOP IN CELEBRATION OF THE DAY OF THE SEAFARER 2025 🎉
IDENTIFYING HARASSMENT AND BULLYING – BUILDING MY HARASSMENT FREE SHIP
🚢 Did you know?
More than 50% of female seafarers and many male seafarers have experienced harassment or bullying in the maritime workplace. This directly impacts their health, mental well-being, career progression, and even threatens the overall safety of the vessel.
🌍 In support of the IMO’s global campaign “My Harassment Free Ship” on the occasion of the Day of the Seafarer – 25 June, Seafarer Club is organizing a dedicated workshop for the maritime community – a space where we will confront a pressing but often overlooked issue: harassment on board ships.
Seafarer Club warmly invites you to join this special workshop with the following objectives:
🔍 Identifying harassment and bullying behaviors in the maritime workplace
📣 Raising awareness and developing effective response skills
⚓ Promoting a culture of respect, safety, and inclusion on board ships
🌊 No silence is safe. No ship can truly operate effectively if it is not safe for those who operate it.
🎯 Come, listen, understand, share, and together, let’s create a maritime environment that respects and protects seafarers – where harassment is never tolerated.
📅 Time: 09:00 AM, Sunday, 15 June 2025
📍 Venue: Seafarer Club – 25C, Block 1, Alley 719, Huynh Tan Phat Street, Phu Thuan Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City
